Our Selection Process

We match your application with our requirements and do a pre-selection among all potential candidates. We need your phone number for a telephone interview or to invite you in for a face-to-face meeting. Please make sure it is listed in your application.
 

Telephone Interview

This is one option we might choose if you have a long journey to come in and interview at our company. In this way we have the opportunity to talk with you about your career and your professional competence in advance, as well as to clarify outstanding issues. Those conducting the phone interview (as well as the onsite interview) are the head of the department you are interviewing for along with yor contact person of HR.
 

Onsite job interview

We invite you to a face-to-face interview when we are impressed with your application and/or possibly from a previous telephone interview. Once invited to an interview, we’ll take care of your travel costs, for example, a flight ticket (economy class), train ticket (second class) or provide a flat kilometer (or mile) rate for travel with your own car. The talk lasts about 1.5 - 2 hours and you will be interviewed by the head of the department you are interviewing for as well as the director of HR.

If you were able to convince us in the interview, we’ll promptly invite you to a second round of talks (not applicable to students, interns and temporary workers). Here, the procedure can differ by department. In the Sales Department, you’ll meet the President of Sales & Marketing. In other areas, a group of colleagues from a department may come to meet you. At this point you should be prepared to give a short presentation about yourself, so that everyone can see whether you will fit into the team.
 

Decision

We at DocuWare decide together about each hiring. If we agree that you’re the right person for the job, we will quickly call you on the telephone. If you are equally interested to work here, then we will immediately send you the first draft of your contract. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a job to all applicants, and must therefore also occasionally decline an application. We’ll do so promptly and in writing, to make sure you know where you stand.
